PROFILE

Gwynne Taraska is a Senior Fellow at Climate Advisers, focusing on international climate and environmental policy and diplomacy. Dr. Taraska was previously the Director of International Climate Policy at the Center for American Progress, where she developed a portfolio on topics including U.S. nonfederal climate diplomacy, international climate finance, international ocean diplomacy, North American climate cooperation, the Paris Agreement and the legal authority for U.S. participation, climate negotiations in the G-20, shadow carbon pricing, and loss and damage. Prior to joining policy organizations in Washington D.C., Dr. Taraska was the Director of Research at the Institute for Philosophy and Public Policy.
